About
My name is Trudi Jacobson, and I am the head of the Information Literacy Department at the University Libraries, University at Albany. In this role, I teach courses, collaborate with disciplinary faculty members when they would like me to teach their students, and engage in research and publishing. My areas of expertise are metaliteracy and information literacy, and I am learning much about open pedagogy. I am currently working on a book for ALA Publishing with Tom Mackey, Metaliterate Learner as Producer. My personal website is here.
I weave, sew, quilt, and occasionally spin. And read, when I get a chance. I really enjoy travelling, and hope we'll be able to do so again safely soon.
